Lunar Eclipse on Algol: Nov 18-19, 2021

The lunar eclipse happening at 27º Taurus is conjoined to fixed star called Algol, which sits at 26º Taurus. This fixed star is known for its malefic nature and is regarded as one of the most dangerous fixed stars in the zodiac. It is associated with Medusa and decapitation or beheading. Astrologer Sam Reynolds gives an insightful explanation of the meaning of this lunar eclipse on Algol using mythology, which you can watch here.

As this eclipse comes to pass, contemplate the metaphor of “losing your head”. How do you react to horrible events in your life? Do you get consumed with emotion or are you able to reconcile those experiences somehow? What injustices or traumas can provoke you in that way and how can you make peace with those experiences?
