The United States' Financial Rebirth: Astrological Insights
INTRODUCTION
The current astrological transits suggest that the United States is on the brink of a financial rebirth. In my previous article, "The United States' Pluto Return and the Pandemic," published in October 2021, I explored this subject extensively. According to the birth chart of the United States, the recent Pluto return, marking the completion of one 248-year orbit, took place in the second house of finances. Here is an excerpt from that article:
“With Pluto in Capricorn in the second house, all of these significations come together in an infinite array of possible manifestations. Plutonian energy is being expressed through Capricornian significations in the realm of second house subjects. For example, this could look like the exposure of secret U.S. government corruption or the rebirth of traditional U.S. economic structures, government control, and who decides to give the U.S. monetary support. It represents things like supply chain issues, inflation of food prices, landlords, debt ceilings, the 1%, wealth inequality, banks, and stimulus checks. The U.S. population has been struggling with income and the ability to satisfy their own needs. There has been an emphasized lack of security and contentment of the population. Overall, the concept of “American Values” has been bastardized beyond recognition. The phrase “out with the old and in with the new” is relevant here.”
THE INFLUENCE OF THE PANDEMIC
The pandemic has acted as a catalyst, pushing the United States towards a rebirth of its values and the way it sustains itself. It has exerted enough pressure on the country to instigate changes in the realms of government, finance, and societal priorities. The transformative impact of the pandemic highlights the need for adaptations in a technology-driven age.
THE TURNING POINT
On March 23, 2023, Pluto entered Aquarius, signaling a turning point in the financial landscape. Subsequently, on May 1, 2023, Pluto stationed retrograde at 00º21' Aquarius. On June 11, 2023, Pluto will move back into Capricorn, commencing the final phase of the United States' financial rebirth.
UPCOMING DATES TO CONSIDER
Before reaching this critical juncture, it is crucial to take note of several significant dates:
Jupiter in Taurus:
On Tuesday, May 16, Jupiter entered the sign of Taurus. This alignment creates an exact square aspect with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius until Saturday, May 20, 2023. The square aspect signifies tension and challenges in wealth redistribution. This aspect, particularly when accompanied by a conjunction with the Moon on Wednesday, May 17, can indicate significant shifts in wealth. However, this transformation may lead to windfalls for some while causing devastation for others. Notably, this marks the first time an outer planet forms an exact aspect with Pluto in Aquarius, symbolizing the masses' encounter with Pluto's transformative nature within a technological sign like Aquarius. The transition from physical cash (Capricorn/earth) to digital currency (Aquarius/air) aligns with this astrological alignment.
The New Moon at 28º Taurus:
On Friday May 19 the aspects of the New Moon will be a sextile to Mars and Neptune, and trine to Pluto retrograde (just out of sign). This could indicate a new beginning, supportive of a rebirth, being assisted by intimidation and confusion.
Mars-Pluto Opposition:
On Saturday, May 20, the Jupiter-Pluto square transitions into a Mars-Pluto opposition, forming a T-square with Jupiter in Taurus. This configuration intensifies the dynamics, as Mars in Leo (a fixed fire sign) opposes Pluto in Aquarius (a fixed air sign). Mars’ nature is to separate and sever and Pluto’s nature is to exterminate. Jupiter in Taurus provides the earth element here, indicating a hit to all types of material wealth- your body, money, food, well-being, resources, and the actual tectonic plates of the earth. The combination of fire and oxygen in a fixed nature could potentially lead to a volatile and explosive situation, reminiscent of a devastating volcanic eruption. This deadly T-square could act as a literal natural disaster, and also fiat currency has a high probability of going extinct.
CONCLUSION
As the United States navigates through these astrological transits, the financial rebirth unfolds. The path forward may be challenging, but it also presents an opportunity for growth, innovation, and the restoration of values.
